Whenever I start comparing myself with others, I remind myself where I come from:

A small village where landing a government job means “you’ve made it.”
A place where most people are content with household routines and pet animals.
A place where only 3 career options are popular.

There was no business background, no mentor, and no roadmap.

Just me… trying to figure out a world no one around me had ever stepped into or even heard of.

And the beginnings were rough:

I got feedback on basic grammar.
I worked cluelessly for 2 years without knowing how the online world functioned.
I got fired twice before turning 22.

But every rough start became a stepping stone.

Every messy beginning taught me the same lesson over and over again: Leading with clarity is what builds momentum.

So, I didn’t grow just because “things worked out.”

I grew because I started building systems in my life before I ever built them for founders.

When everything felt chaotic, I created tiny structures:

A routine I could rely on.
A writing system that kept me consistent.
A simple workflow to learn faster.
A habit system to sharpen myself daily.

Those weren’t productivity hacks, they were survival systems.

And slowly, things changed.

Today, my life looks very different.

I write for top consultants at my job.
I live independently in a city I once dreamed of visiting.
I run my small online business in the mornings and weekends.
A part of my earnings goes back into sharpening the person I’m becoming.
And being financially independent still amazes me how powerful it is.

Over time, this journey expanded beyond just me.

Now I work with global founders, helping them scale by systemizing their operations. So they:

Turn constant pressure into predictable momentum.

And yet…

Some days, when I scroll online and see “overnight success stories,”

that old whisper creeps in:

A lot has evolved.

And none of it happened by comparison.

It happened because I consistently chose the next right step, even when I had no blueprint.

That’s when comparison loses its power.

And when your progress has direction, you stop measuring yourself against strangers…

and start measuring yourself against who you were yesterday.

And that version of you?

That’s the only real competition.
