Let me confess something.

Shortcut #1: Backlinks to Jump Between Pages

Forget “where did I link that page?”

1️⃣ Type [[ or @ on any Notion page → to search any page.

2️⃣ Select the page to insert a link.

3️⃣ Click the link anytime to jump directly.

No more guessing games. One click, and you’re there.

Bonus? It creates an automatic backlink on the other page.

It’s like Notion leaves breadcrumbs for you. And I love that.

Shortcut #2: Command + P for Quick Search

Think of this as your Notion Control Center.

Want to find a client folder? That SOP? Your Tuesday meeting notes?

Just hit:

Cmd + P on Mac
Ctrl + P on Windows

Search and jump. It’s lightning-fast.

Use this 10x a day, and suddenly Notion feels like teleportation.

Shortcut #3: Use @ for Pages, Dates & People

Think of the @ symbol as your Notion Swiss Army knife.

Need to mention a teammate?

Drop a date reminder?

Link a page?

Just type @ and start typing.

Here’s how it works:

@Page Name → Link instantly to any page.
@Today, @Tomorrow, or any custom date → Add a date reminder
@Person → Mentions a teammate and notifies them.

Pro Tip: You can combine mentions too:

“Follow up with @John next @Monday.”

Boom. Person tagged. Date added. No extra clicks.

It’s like having reminders, links, and team check-ins all inside one sentence.

I bring these up not just because they’re clever.

But because smart workflows aren’t always about new tools.

They’re about using your existing tools better.
